Located outside the ventilator and connected directly between the patient circuit and the endotracheal tube.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">The main function is to measure the flow rate of the patient\u2019s air-oxygen mixture passing through the sensor towards the patient and in the opposite direction. The measurement method is the differential pressure method.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">The flow sensor must be calibrated before use. For calibration, follow the instructions in the relevant ventilator operator\u2019s manual. After successful completion of the procedure, the flow sensor is ready for use by the patient. If the calibration fails, it can be repeated once.
